Calling All Stakeholders: Gathering the Right Requirements

 

Project stakeholders come in all shapes and sizes. When asked, they will all tell you what they want, and some might even tell you what they think they need. It is a safe bet that very few of them will actually agree. Asking the right questions of the right people is the most critical step in accurately identifying the requirements that will launch your project. Acquire the information you need when you need it and your project will be heading toward success. Fail to do so and you will be spiraling toward disaster. We explore real-life examples of how to engage critical stakeholders at every level of your organization and solicit the information you need for your project to be a success.
