How to copy and paste edits with track changes from a Word document into an email without losing the changes - works also to paste into another Word document that has Track changes as well.
- Select the text you wish to copy.
- Turn off Track Changes (Review / Track Changes button)
- Enable the Developer ribbon. File>Options>Customize Ribbon and check Developer
- Click the Group button, then select Group.
- Copy the text.
- Paste the text into your email message.
- Click Paste Options button to adjust formatting as needed (so that your changes are visible).
