Ready for something a little bit new and over 27,000 years old at ILTA’s Catalyst Conference this year?  If so, look no further than the KM Peer Group’s session on “Storytelling to Transform Your KM Projects, Strategy, and Culture,” taking place at 1:30 pm on the Tuesday (August 20).  In the interest of full disclosure, I admit at the outset that I am one of the organizers (along with Mary Panetta) and moderator for this excting session that promises to be educational, entertaining, and transformational. Still not convinced? Read on.

This session explores how you can use masterful storytelling to manage change, persuade, and build support for your projects by weaving your message and strategy into your firm's and every member's story. This interactive session is lead by award-winning performer, artistic director, playwright, teacher, and luminary Tracey Erin Smith.  Tracey also is founder and creator of SoulOTheatre®, a program where actors and non-actors learn to create their own one-person show by transforming their life-stories into creative solo theatre performances.

This session is for anyone who ever has to persuade others to adopt something new or adapt to change.  That sounds to me like something that applies to every ILTA member in any role!  So join us for an amazing 60 minutes that may well transform you and your ability to lead change. Remember: TUESDAY, 20 AUGUST 2013 AT 1:30 PM IN FLORENTINE I & 2.  See you there!
