If your firm has offices in different time zones, these two tips will come in handy:
Add a second time zone to Outlook calendar
- In Calendar view, display by Day or Week view.
- Right-click on the time increments and select Change Time Zone.
- Under Time Zones, check Show a second time zone.
- Type the abbreviated location in the Label field and select the appropriate time zone from the Time zone dropdown menu.
- Click OK.
Add additional clocks to the Date/Time display in the Information Tray
- Click on the time displayed at the right in the Information Tray.
- Click Change date and time settings.
- Click the Additional Clocks tab.
- Check Show this clock and select the time zone, then enter a display name for that clock.
- Repeat step 4 to add another clock for a different time zone.
- Click OK.
Now it's easy to know what time it is when sending meeting requests from Outlook, or calling someone in a different time zone.
