  1. KEEP DATA HIDDEN IN PRINTOUTS. You can prevent specific rows and columns from printing by hiding them.
  2. Select the rows or columns you want to hide.
  3. Right-click the selection and then click Hide.
  4. When you have finished printing, unhide all rows or columns by manually selecting the rows or columns on either side of the hidden one(s). Then right-click any cell and select Unhide.

  5. VIEW TWO SPREADSHEETS SIDE BY SIDE.
  6. Open both spreadsheets.
  7. On the View tab, in the Windows group, click View Side by Side.
  8. To change the orientation, in the Windows group, click Arrange All. Click Vertical to display the spreadsheets side-by-side.
  9. In the Windows group, click Synchronous Scrolling to scroll through both worksheets at the same time.

  10. IDENTIFY DUPLICATE VALUES.
  11. Select the column that holds the duplicate values.

  12. On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click Conditional Formatting, point to Highlight Cell Rules, and then click Duplicate Values.
  13. Choose formatting for duplicate values and click OK
  14. Scroll through your spreadsheet to review the highlighted duplicate value
Tip: To group duplicates together, sort the column(s).
