How to set up ONE-click PDF/A in Adobe DC

  1. Launch Acrobat DC
  2. Click on Tools | Action Wizard
  3. Click New Action
  4. In the left pane, expand Recognize Text
  5. Add Recognize Text using OCR to the right pane
  6. In the left pane, expand Document Processing
  7. Add Preflight to the right pane
  8. In the right pane, double click Specify Settings
  9. Choose Convert to PDF/A-1b
  10. Save
  11. Uncheck Prompt User
  12. Save
  13. Name the Action: Save as PDF/A
  14. Add a description if you wish
  15. Drag the Save as PDF/A action to the toolbar
  16. Click Manage Actions
  17. Export Save as PDF/A to a network location

Import it for anyone who wants it and drag it to their toolbar

One click PDF/A!
