How to set up ONE-click PDF/A in Adobe DC
- Launch Acrobat DC
- Click on Tools | Action Wizard
- Click New Action
- In the left pane, expand Recognize Text
- Add Recognize Text using OCR to the right pane
- In the left pane, expand Document Processing
- Add Preflight to the right pane
- In the right pane, double click Specify Settings
- Choose Convert to PDF/A-1b
- Save
- Uncheck Prompt User
- Save
- Name the Action: Save as PDF/A
- Add a description if you wish
- Drag the Save as PDF/A action to the toolbar
- Click Manage Actions
- Export Save as PDF/A to a network location
Import it for anyone who wants it and drag it to their toolbar
One click PDF/A!
