How do I lock hidden columns in Excel?

 

You have to HIDE the columns FIRST   

                Select the Column, and RIGHT click

                Choose HIDE

 

 THEN:

  1. Click on the REVIEW tab in Excel.

 

  1. In the Changes group, click on Protect Workbook

 

  1. Then add your password – make sure you can remember it, because if you do NOT, you can NOT unlock it!

 

  1. Save the document
