A Passionate Keynote

Sir Ken Robinson, an internationally recognized authority on creativity and innovation, will take us on a tour of what can happen in our lives when passion and talent meet. Begin your ILTACON week at this engaging keynote based on Sir Robinson’s book, “The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything,” in the Augustus Ballroom at 9:00 a.m. Be inspired to find and develop your passion!

ILTACON TV

Randi Mayes, Executive Director of ILTA and Monica Bay, freelance journalist and Fellow at CodeX: The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics, will conduct video interviews of speakers, ILTA members and vendors during ILTACON 2015.  Find these captivating interviews posted on ILTA’s website and displayed on the screen outside the ILTACON TV room – Modena just past the Member Registration desk.

Local Member Networking Event

ILTACON attendees can network with both local peers and those from across the globe this evening from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Palace Ballroom. Connect with old and new peers and join in activities such as Wristband Scrabble. Learn how you can become involved in ILTA from member liaisons while enjoying refreshments. This event is closed to vendors.

If you miss this networking event, stop by the member registration desk’s volunteer station to learn how to get involved in ILTA.

The Legal Bytes Take Center Stage

After connecting with your peers at the Local Member Networking event and before heading to the Exhibit Hall Opening Reception, catch a free concert by The Legal Bytes – the all-ILTA-member rock band playing original music about legal technology. The show begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Palace Ballroom. You won’t want to miss this annual event or the new songs expected to debut tonight.

Once Upon a Time in the Exhibit Hall

ILTA’s Vendor Once Upon a Time Opening Reception commences with the wave of a magic wand in the Octavius Ballroom at 7:00 tonight. Meet with our exhibitors and get acquainted with their products in a magical setting while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and liquid refreshments. You must wear your badge to enter. Guest tickets are available for purchase.

Experience the ILTACON 2015 Events App

The ILTACON 2015 Events App is available for the Apple iPhone and iPad, Android and Windows mobile devices in the Apple iTunes, Google Play and Windows App stores. Search for ILTA Events. We also have a mobile web version. The App provides access to the conference agenda, speaker details, attendee list, exhibitors, and more. If you have questions about the ILTACON 2015 Events App, visit the Ask ILTA desk.

Get Your Wi-Fi Here!

Caesars Palace Conference Center provides wireless Internet access at NO CHARGE to conference attendees, thanks to our sponsor American Legalnet, Inc. Look for the ILTACON_Preferred wireless choice in the conference center. The password is americanlegalnet. Internet access for two devices in guest rooms is covered by your daily resort fee. Look for the CAESARS wireless choice while in your guest room. For ILTA guests, the daily Basic Internet will automatically be removed from the room folio daily and will not appear on the bill.

You Can Always Ask ILTA

The “Ask ILTA” desk is located next to member registration on the Promenade Level of the conference center. This is a great place to explore the benefits of your membership. Your questions can be specific or general; they can be about online services, local meetings or our publications. ILTA staff are here to assist you!

Take the No Mi-Fi Pledge

Please turn off any Mi-Fi devices and any Wi-Fi hotspot services while in the conference center. Take the “No Mi-Fi Pledge” to help ensure a better Wi-Fi experience for all ILTACON attendees. To take the pledge, visit the Important Info area of the ILTACON 2015 Events App and earn a badge.

Tweet to Your Heart’s Content

Follow our conference Twitter account at @ILTAConf or track it with the Twitter monitor sponsored by Microsystems on the home page of the conference website. You can also keep up with the chatter by searching for the conference hashtag: #ILTACON. Tweet about each session using the hashtag specific to the event code found in the conference journal or Event App!

Looking for a Demo Room?

All demo room assignments and the full schedule can be found on the ILTACON 2015 Events App. The schedule is also located on hotel information boards around the conference center.

Power Up!
The front row of each session room is a “Click Zone,” for tweeting, blogging and taking notes on laptops and PDAs. This area is rich in power strips, so sit down, plug in and get your tweet on. Please remember to mute any device that makes sound in the session rooms. Please note other power-rich locations on the Promenade Level — Laptop Lounge and the Charging Station.

CE Credits

Although ILTA will not offer continuing education credit, an ILTA certificate of completion will be offered. Attendees may seek CLE credit or other continuing education credit on their own. To obtain a certificate of completion following conference, provide a list of all session dates/times/titles to randi@iltanet.org.

Session Recordings Have You Covered

With over 200 great sessions, you may not catch every session you want to attend. Don’t worry about it… session recordings will be available for download at no cost to ILTA members after conference.

Start Each Morning with Yoga

Join us each day of the conference at 6:30 a.m. for yoga outside the Palace Ballroom on the Emperors Level. Sign-up information is available on the conference website. An instructor will be present, but please bring your own mat. Towels will be provided.

Dance into Tuesday with Zumba

If yoga is too slow-paced for you, be sure to try Zumba at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the Augustus Ballroom. Zumba fitness classes fuse Latin dance rhythms with easy-to-follow moves for a fun, energizing and effective workout. Sign-up information is available on the conference website.

Lost and Found

If ILTA staff or ILTACON attendees find lost items, they will take them first to the Member Registration desk on the Promenade Level. If the hotel staff find any lost items, they will deliver them to the Hotel Lost and Found. Guests can call the Lost and Found Department of the hotel at (702) 731-7085.

Remember to wear your name badge at all times!
