After our flagship US event and five spectacularly good days in Nashville, the ILTA bandwagon rolls on. Our ILTA conference for UK and Europe, Insight, is back in London for a ninth year, and while not of the scale and scope of its American cousin, it is still perfectly formed, and a careful balance of education, conversation and relaxation.

here. We’re particularly excited by this year’s venue, 155 Bishopsgate – this is one of the capital’s newest event spaces, just a two minute walk from Liverpool Street and for the first time enabling us to deliver a properly integrated conference and exhibition.
Following our record attendance last year, we’re projecting 300+ delegates for 2014 – giving you the chance to join the biggest conversation yet.
Five things you need to know about ILTA Insight
If you’re new to ILTA Insight or just want a refresher on how we do things in London, here are five quick pointers.
1) Insight 2014 is a one day conference built around peer-designed and delivered content. There’s no other event out there that is effectively created by its own audience
2) We offer four educational tracks and a proper environment to actually listen and learn and engage – content isn’t a sideshow, it’s the main event
3) Insight 2104 is absolutely free for anyone working in a law firm or in-house legal department – there is no registration fee
4) You don’t have to be an ILTA member to attend – but it’s a great opportunity to find our more about the benefits of membership
5) We restrict ourselves to a select and finite group of sponsor supporters, who are there not to sell but to participate as delegates with their own unique perspective
Tracks suit
Insight 2014 sees us continuing our popular multiple track format but we’ve gone one better this year as we’ve introduced a fourth stream. Programme regulars KM, Technology and Litigation Support have now been joined by Strategy as IT continues to touch and influence every part of modern day legal practice. Every session has been carefully peer-developed to ensure maximum relevance and engagement with the audience and co-chairs Janet Day and Gareth Ash are hugely enthusiastic about this year’s offering: “We have a heavyweight agenda lined up with a range of serious, complex and challenging topics. But as is the ILTA way, we are making these issues accessible, sharing real experiences, dealing in practicalities, exploring workable suggestions – we want people to go away not just with thoughts for the future but with plans for tomorrow.”
Legal Technology Future Horizon Project
The highlight of last year’s Insight event was undoubtedly Rohit Talwar’s presentation of the preliminary findings from ILTA’s ground-breaking Legal Technology Future Horizon project (LTFH). The epic final report was published earlier this year and Rohit will be back in London to pick up on many of its central themes. We also have a rather nifty giveaway for all delegates that may help ‘map out’ your own future horizon, but you’ll have to join us in November to claim yours!
