Project Management Tools

While educational sessions progressed last week at ILTACON, many members still discussed issues in the Connected Communities. One asked about project management tools with capabilities beyond the IT department. Sessions at this year’s ILTACON addressed this. “PM vs. LPM Project Modeling: Differences, Applications and Templates” speaks directly to the member’s question. For more on project management within the IT department listen to “Whipping Together the Right Ingredients for a Project Management Office Within Legal IT” and “IT Project Portfolio Management." A white paper article from November 2015, “Maximizing Value: Eliminating Waste Through Legal Process Excellence,” provides guidance on implementing a process, gaining adoption, selecting the right tools for the job and improving the processes over time through the smart use of data.
