2016 Highlights and 2017 Predictions
Are predictions just the hope of where the market will be or truly plausible for 2017 and beyond? I’ll let you decide.
Do you want to make your own predictions for 2017? At ILTA’s Leadership NEW.0 seminar in November, Matt Homann, CEO and founder of Filament, asked participants to envision the future business environment for the next generation of leaders. He noted “we are terrible at predicting the future… because our minds can imagine a thousand possibilities… but we are really good at remembering what happened.” He led an exercise called “Remember the Future.” He instructed participants to “remember” from 2021 back to today and use the phrase “I remember…” to develop a narrative to generate predictions of the future legal world. To learn more about this exercise and the predictions made listen to the “Leader’s Lab: The Next Generation.”
