For some Friday Fun, read this comic from the Harvard Business School on “Why Humans Are So Careless With Their Phones.” It may convince you to not widely share laptop/desktop/Surface upgrade schedules in your organization.
Have you noticed an uptick in attorneys and staff asking you about VPNs? It may be due to the recent vote in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives to remove a new FCC rule to require opting-in for ISP collection of browsing data. The article, “Why Is Everyone Talking About VPN?,” explains the technology behind VPNs in layman’s terms, links to the data collection policies of several ISPs and gives pros, cons and costs to purchasing a VPN for the home.
