Q.  When and how did you begin your career in Litigation and Practice Support?

A.  I started my career working for a litigation support vendor in Las Vegas, NV named Litigation Services & Technologies.

Q.  How has your role in this field changed over time?

A.  My role has changed over time working from the ground up on the vendor side to Litigation Support Manager within a firm.

Q.   What do you find most interesting about this profession?

A.  I have two things that I find interesting about this profession. 1. How connected the Litigation support community really is; seems like everyone is connected in some way! 2. The never ending change in the field and challenge of always dealing with new file types, social media, etc.

Q.   What do you do for fun?

A.  Try to play as much golf as possible.

Q.  What are some of the key concepts you hope to cover in your session at the 2013 ILTA Conference?

A.  I would really like to share our product selection process.

Q.  Anything you’d like to say to Conference attendees?

A.  Go Bucks!

 

David Hasman is the Litigation Support Manager at Bricker & Eckler LLP. In this role, he provides consulting on any litigation and E-Discovery matter for the firm. His responsibilities include designing, implementing and maintaining litigation. Additionally, Mr.. Hasman coordinates special projects for the firm and is responsible for the evaluation, selection and negotiation of agreements with third party discovery vendors. Mr.. Hasman has 10 years of experience in the Litigation Support field.
