An I-Team Global AI Review: From Hallucinations to Prompts and Privilege
Join us for June's ILTA Litigation SIG meeting where we will have a global update on AI law featuring The I-Team: Jonathan Armstrong of Punter Southall Law, Fiona Campbell of Fieldfisher, David Horrigan of Relativity, and Linda Sheehan of ENS.
As AI law issues have evolved beyond whether to use AI to how to use AI, we’ll discuss important AI law developments and the effects of the UK decision in Ayinde. In addition, we’ll examine the issue of AI prompts and the protections of the attorney-client privilege and the work product doctrine, including in UK v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2026] UKUT 81 (IAC) and Gilberto, Heppner, and Morgan as well as the Draft National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy in South Africa.
