Agreeing Your KM Budget for 2027 - What Are The Moving Parts For Consideration?
Please join your peers at ILTA's quarterly meeting for professionals in Knowledge Management on 1st October 2026, 17:00-19:00 (BST), for an in person meeting and networking drinks at Kennedys Law LLP, London EC3M 3BY, moderated by your ILTA KM Special Interest Group Steering Committee.
As we approach that fun-packed time of year when budgets need to be agreed, we will discuss the issues facing KM team leaders when thinking about where budget spend should be allocated in the fast-paced world of KM systems and AI. As providers of some tools move to token-based models and there is a world of overlapping functionality to grapple with, we will discuss the factors playing into budget decisions this year and the implications for the Knowledge tech stack.

17.10-18:30 - Discussion, including break out groups fed back to the wider group to ensure more peer perspectives can be heard
18:30-19:00 - Grab a drink and discover new connections.
Who should attend: This event is open to anyone working in a law firm or legal department. You do not need to work in a KM role to attend, as long as the topic is of interest to you. These sessions are designed to incite discussion and collaboration, so please come prepared to engage and share with your peers. There is no cost to attend, however, as places are limited, we encourage you to register only if you are highly likely to attend.
