ILTA is once again going to Legalweek in 2025! We are proud to lead three education sessions on Monday, March 24th, 2025, as follows:
1. Reviewing Your Review Process: Getting Meaningful and actionable feedback
Today the ability to receive and provide effective feedback is more critical than ever. But how can you ensure that the feedback you give—and receive—leads to improvement? In this session, we will dive into the nuances of refining your review process to make feedback more meaningful, actionable, and aligned with your goals.
Participants will learn how to:
- Identify common pitfalls in feedback processes that prevent actionable insights.
- Use of tech for efficiency
- Develop strategies for soliciting feedback that is specific, constructive, and relevant.
- Create a feedback culture that encourages open communication and continuous improvement.
- Refine your review framework to focus on results-oriented feedback that drives growth and development.
Whether you’re a manager, team leader, or individual contributor, this session will equip you with the tools to ensure that your feedback is heard and implemented, leading to more effective collaboration and better outcomes for your team and organization.
2. Microsoft Teams Chat and Channel Evolution: What’s Coming and Why It Matters for Your Organization
The way legal teams collaborate is evolving, and Microsoft Teams is leading the charge. With the new chat and channel experience, Microsoft introduces a streamlined approach to managing conversations, triaging urgent messages, and customizing workflows. Even if your firm hasn’t fully adopted Teams as a collaboration platform, these updates will still impact how your users engage with the platform.
Participants will learn:
- An Overview of the Changes: Understand the key updates to the Teams chat and channel experience and how they simplify collaboration for legal professionals.
- Strategic Deployment Strategies: Learn proven approaches to manage the change effectively within your firm, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing disruption.
- Adapting for Legal Workflows: Tailored insights on how these updates align with legal-specific needs like case management, document collaboration, and governance.
This session is designed for IT leaders, change managers, legal operations professionals, and anyone responsible for technology deployment within a legal environment. Whether you are fully leveraging Teams or just starting out, this session provides valuable insights for navigating this change.
3. Simplify, Automate, Innovate: SharePoint Agents in Action
Building chatbot agents, powered by AI, are transforming the way organizations manage content and automate processes. In this session, we will hear from a law firm that leveraged SharePoint Agents, from summarizing documents to automating repetitive tasks. Learn how to harness these agents to drive efficiency, enhance decision-making, and simplify complex workflows. This is your chance to see innovation in action and bring it back to your organization. This session is designed for knowledge managers, leaders, IT, and anyone responsible for technology deployment and innovation.
