I come from a legal background that spans 20 years; the first ten of which I was a Legal Secretary. Not a great fit for me, it was great to become involved with Knowledge Management and help populate the company intranet while working at Ashurst. A jump to Charles Russell (as was) saw me manage the Knowledge aspect of the firm's intranet, Insite, and work as part of a project to upgrade the firm's intranet to SharePoint 2013, shortly after the merger with Speechly Bircham. Lots of change and I loved it all! I had a hiatus from the legal sector, contracting for 3 years as a content manager, largely focussed on SharePoint and all the opportunities afforded in the o365 suite. Governance policies, strategy, permission management and content auditing have all become part of my toolkit and I was delighted to join Taylor Wessing on a permanent basis to put all I have learned into practice and see the fruition of project outputs.
