Tony left school in Scotland at 16 and joined the South of Scotland Electricity Boards pre privatisation, PC's, email, mobile phones, www, google and pre everything tech his kids and colleagues take for granted today. Having spent 20 years in the utilities sector working across the UK in several technology, change and people leadership positions he joined the legal sector in 2008 with Allen & Overy LLP.
As Chief Information Officer at Lawfront, he leads technology strategy that empowers law firms to work smarter and deliver exceptional client experiences. With a proven track record in IT leadership and change management, he specialises in turning complex challenges into scalable, secure, and innovative solutions. Previously Director of IT & Change at Howard Kennedy LLP, he led the modernisation programs that enhanced agility and resilience. I’m passionate about cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and leveraging data to unlock growth. My mission: make technology a true business enabler in the legal sector.
As a senior volunteer leader for ILTA he has chaired the European and International planning councils, chaired the annual European ILTACon many times, joined the ILTA Board in 2021 and achieved the ultimate volunteer position as ILTA President 2023-25.
Outside of the office volunteering continues to play an important part of Tony's life, supporting local charities and as a trustee for a local secondary academy in his home village in Essex. Tony enjoys most sports, traveling and sampling the local food a drink wherever he finds himself.
