Glenn Fischer is a seasoned professional with over 25 years’ experience in the legal industry and is currently the Global Director of Information Governance at Mayer Brown. Fischer is responsible for the firm-wide Information Governance Program, including the development and implementation of policies, procedures and promoting compliance with privacy, confidentiality and information security related laws and regulations. He possesses strong leadership skills, successfully manages teams through significant change management and ensures compliance with industry best practices for electronic and physical data retention. Fischer’s ability to articulate strategic direction, coupled with excellent communication and decision-making capabilities, positions him as a valuable leader in the field of information governance. Fischer earned his Information Governance Professional (IGP) certification and has actively been involved in ARMA and the NYC-LI Chapter, serving on the board of directors, including chapter President.
