JoAnna is the CEO/Founder of InsideLegal, the insider’s guide to doing business in legal technology in the US and internationally, and has spent the last 17 years promoting the legal technology industry and its thought leaders, most recently through InsideLegal’s thought leadership initiative. She has partnered with ILTA since 2004 producing the annual vendor education program; media panels; and administering the annual ILTA/InsideLegal Technology Purchasing Survey. In addition, she produces industry events that match consultants, law firm CIOs, technologists, media and legal vendor executives and is the co-producer of IgniteLaw (with Matt Homann). She heads up InsideLegal’s market research and social media programs and educates the legal community through speaking/writing for industry conferences/publications. JoAnna Forshee was recently named to the ABA LTRC’s ‘Women of Legal Tech 2016’ list; she is a 2015 Fastcase 50 honoree, and winner of the 2004 Lex Proficio Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Advancement of Legal Marketing.
