Kate Cain is a legal knowledge management and marketing technology veteran with more than two decades of experience leading initiatives spanning marketing, finance, knowledge management, information technology and operations. She leads teams focused on delivering solutions to impact client service delivery, firm strategy, and practice growth, building on her previous roles at Sidley Austin, Winston & Strawn and Kirkland & Ellis. At Sheppard Mullin, this includes business professionals providing litigation support and ediscovery services, legal and business research, competitive intelligence, knowledge management and practice-specific solutions. Previously, Kate worked with Foundation Software Group (later Litera), leading product design and management efforts. A recipient of the Monica Bay STEM Leadership Award and the ILTA Distinguished Peer Leadership Award, Kate is a long-time ILTA volunteer having served six years on the Board of Directors. She continues to be a frequent speaker and writer for ILTA, LMA, ARK and others.
