I am in-house counsel to a consulting organization and have led professional service teams for over 30 years. To best meet the needs of my legal colleagues for practice advice and business counsel independent of software solution or managed services, I recently co-founded Unbiased Consulting with the former leadership team of LegalShift. At Unbiased, I lead a seasoned group of senior-level business management and technology consultants who share my passion for helping Fortune 500 General Counsel create high-performing law departments.
My role as corporate counsel causes me to deal with the same issues of legal practice and business operations as our clients—-achieving more with less, creating a global and coordinated legal function, managing vendors to reduce legal spend, and communicating value to executive teams. Serving as corporate lawyer, legal operations manager, business analyst, and technology expert has given me the real world experience needed to effectively serve as an independent, trusted advisor and differentiates my company from would-be competitors.
